Sending beautiful messages using the image–only message feature in Relevant Tools has many advantages; for example, because the message is an image it will look the same on all computers regardless of which application is used to view the message. Additionally, you can say exactly what you want say without concern about using words that may trigger spam filters. This type of message is perfect for a flyer such as a sales or event promotion when you want to catch people's attention to get them back to your website to take action.
To begin this process, click on "MESSAGES", at the top of the screen; the Created a Message screen, shown below, will be displayed. Next, click on the "Image Msg" submenu option near the top of the screen.
Next, depending on which button is displayed on your screen, click on either the Choose File or Browse button to locate the image file and upload it from your local computer, as shown below.
Uploaded images should be properly sized. They should typically have a width between 600 to 800 pixels and they should be either in a JPG, GIF or PNG format. Feel free to contact us if you need help creating your images if you don't have a graphic designer to create them for you.
Next, if you want people to be able to click anywhere on your image and be directed to your website enter the full URL of your web site page in the Destination URL text box, as shown below. Click on the "UPLOAD IMAGE" button to upload the image to Relevant Tools.
The Create Image Message screen, shown below, should now be displayed on your screen. Enter the name of the message in the Message name text box. This name is the name that will be used to the select the message when you send it out. Next, you can change the default From Name and From Email Address if you desire. All the replies will go to the From Email Address and a valid email address is required. Enter the subject of your message in the Subject text box. This subject is the subject that people will see when they receive the message.
The html code will be generated for you and unless you know what you are doing, you probably souldn't change the html code. On the other hand, if you do know what you are doing you can go ahead and insert more html tags, as desired.
Next, click on the "CREATE MESSAGE" button, shown above, and the Create Message screen below will be displayed. Click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button to send a test message to yourself. Again you sould always test the message before you sent it in a mailing.
Below is the completed message, delivered to the inbox and ready to generate lots of new business.
